Project Description
Ethnological Museum
Located in the Mesón ‘El Cid’, the Ethnological Museum (as well as its annex dedicated to the Civil War) is another example of the efforts of the people of Morata to preserve the bonds they maintained for centuries with the lands of Tajuña river.
A museum created by the Atance family, in which the daily life of past times is valued, housing fragments of history in its rooms that, dating from the 18th and 20th centuries, once had their own history.
Through carriages, jars, farm implements, the winery, kitchen utensils or agricultural machinery, visitors will be able to remember and discover what life in rural Spain was like in the last century. A visit to the past with reproductions of typical Castilian kitchens or even the interior of a school from the early years of Francoism
