Paths of “The Forest”
Paths of “The Forest”
“The Forest” is an urban park of about 33 hectares located in the north of the municipality. Mostly it is occupied by Pinus halepensis (Aleppo pine), although we can also appreciate other species such as Holm oak, kermes or broom.
The starting point of the trails is at the end of Calle José María Rodelgo, past the Juan de Avalos Park. There is an informative panel located at the right hand side of the starting point, next to Calistenia Park
The paths are circular, conveniently marked, and explanatory posters of the most representative botanical species.
Path A has a length of about 900 m and low level of difficulty. It is suitable for people who simply want to take a walk in one of Morata’s most beautiful environments.

The path B has a length of about 1,400 m and a medium-high level of difficulty due to steep descents that we will find. Part of the path is frequented by mountain bike cyclists, as part of the route is shared by a descent circuit, so we recommend you take great precaution.
