HOW TO GET HERE

Morata de Tajuña is located in the southeast of the Community of Madrid.

Morata de Tajuña is located in the southeast of the Autonomous Community of Madrid.  The best option to get to the municipality from Madrid, which is 38 kilometers away, is to use the A-3 national highway of Valencia and take the exit 21′ Morata – Chinchón’, which connects with M-311 to get to the town.

Another option is to continue along the Valencia highway until exit 28, to take the exit M-313 that leads directly to Morata.

Other road accesses connect Morata with the municipality of Perales de Tajuña, located 8 kilometres along the M-302 road; Valdelaguna, 12 kilometres along the M-315 road; Chinchón, 13 kilometres along the M-311 road; Titulcia, 12 kilometres along the M-313 road; and San Martín de la Vega, 15 kilometres along the M-302 road.

As for public transport, the means of getting to Morata de Tajuña is by bus. It can be taken at Plaza del Conde de Casal in Madrid. The frequency of departure of the lines that arrive to the municipality, 337 and 336, is 15 minutes in peak hours and during the day, in working days. Although, on holidays, buses depart in both directions with a frequency of one hour. In addition, the municipality is connected to Rivas-Vaciamadrid, Arganda del Rey and Perales de Tajuña through bus line 330.
