The Orchard of Madrid

The Morata de Tajuña valley was formerly known as the “Orchard of Madrid”, because through the train that united it with the nearby capital, a flow was maintained that made the exporting locality of some of the best products that were extracted from the fertile plain.

Tomatoes, onions, peppers, lettuce, cucumbers and all those products that can be found in local shops, if they come from the Tajuña valley, freshness and flavor that is difficult to find in Madrid is guarrantueed. The plain and the surroundings of Morata are also known for their garlic and olive oil.

To add to all of this the small game hunt (rabbits, hares, partridges, etc), compose a popular gastronomic dressing based on the quality of both the raw material and its traditional invoice.
